Angie says:
Cholesterol is a measure of the integrity of the body’s cell membrane. Without cholesterol, the body cannot produce hormones that are essential to fuel its bodily function and repair arteries that are punctured resulting from the consumption of table salt that comprise of sand, glass and sodium. For cancer patients, if they have low cholesterol level, the chances of survival is very low as it is an indicator that the cell membrane integrity has been compromised.
Eggs are created perfectly. The egg yolk that is often seen as the source of cholesterol is complemented with egg white that neutralizes it. Hence, eggs are a source of bad cholesterol is a misconception. Eggs also contain sulphur that is important to maintain our immune system.
We must have cholesterol to maintain our survival. To take medication to regulate cholesterol will not only disrupts your body’s ability to produce hormones and repair your arteries, you also risk suffering from heart diseases, which is a known side effect of cholesterol medication.
