I understand from my wife that yeast for bread was one of first product that were GMO. In sourdough bread, some commercial bread makers actually add bakers yeast to the sourdough to make it raise faster. According to the food scientist has terrible implication, the commercial yeast will over run the good bacteria in the sourdough and the yeast will morphed into virus in the body which is difficult to get rid off.
All the bread uses commercial yeast. If one does not stop eating bread, would the commercial yeast also destroy our good bacteria in our gut?? No wonder people keep taking probiotics and cannot culture the good bacteria in their gut. There are a lot of bread lovers out there.
