Why do we need to develop presence of mind during the CLT 5E practice, especially during the CLT 5E still form? What is presence of mind?

What is Presence of Mind ?
The illusion that we are calm and rationale creatures is maintained throughout our daily lives as if we have control over things.The reality is we are never far from falling apart at the seams. Place any one of us in an adverse situation and our apparent rationality and self-control goes out the window.

Our mind is weaker than our emotions. But you become aware of this weakness only in moments of adversity – precisely the time when you needed strength. What best equips you to cope with the heat of battle is neither more knowledge nor more intellect. What makes your mind stronger, and more able to control your emotions, is internal discipline and toughness. This is where CLT comes into the picture. Like any discipline, it can only come through diligent practice and individual experience.

Why it is important during CLT Still Form ?
Fear is the most destructive emotion against presence of mind. Given free reign it will decimate whatever presence of mind you have. It thrives on the unknown, which lets our imaginations run wild. It is therefore better to confront your fears and let them come to the surface, rather than ignore them or try to play them down.

As CLT Still Form is about refinement of merged cosmic energy and our energy fields that we harnessed from the CLT Movement Form, a "presence of mind" is to know and avoid the false thinking mind and its thought forms which is ego-driven. The goal is to achieve a higher referenced top-down approach using 3Ps in evaluating our energy quality, reflecting and letting go of the hurt and anchor the Love back so we can move on with Life's other perspectives.

This is a counter-balance measure to the overpowering pull of our emotions given that CLT will surface un-resolved issue for us to handle. Over time you make progress and each success will build upon the next. The more conflicts and difficult situations you put yourself through, the more battle-tested your mind will be.

How does one maintain presence of mind during CLT 5E Movement Form & Still Form?

5 E exercises = balancing cosmic energy (breathing) + circulating cosmic energy (water element).

Presence of mind is maintained with correct breathing and there is truth hidden within the secret
of breathing. And so, as we focus the mind on the breath, giving it total, undivided attention,
many things unfold-all by themselves. As we engage in this practice, our understanding and
mindfulness keep growing, evolving, unfolding.

Beyond breathing, there is also 2 important components to consider ....

Concentration & presence of mind or full consciousness is not developed through practice only
but through purifying our thoughts & emotions. ...when a practitioner develops presence of mind,
it means that he has achieved a state of mind where he has total awareness of what is going on in
his mind & his surrounding environment. Presence of mind is established when concentration is perfected.

Why ? thoughts and emotions will wreck havoc on our presence of mind as they seem more real and exciting.
Hence if unchecked we will not derive full benefits from CLT 5E.

Just to illustrate the importance of thoughts in the bigger scheme of things...

VIRUS ATTACK – "they" are sending frequencies to our brain instructing it to create the virus.
The answer lies with our THOUGHTS as the mind is the playing field. Trouble is human race
has no filter and thus implants (attachments) in the body, when the virus enters, the body
gladly accepts the signal / frequencies and systematically the body gets de-structured.

So the question is if we are not going to control our thoughts, well someone else will !

Presence of mind occurs naturally when the practitioner builds up love. Love will draw in energies that is when emptiness occurs. No technique is involved simply continuous practise of expressing of love/kindness to self and others will eventually build up to having presence of mind.
