Clt Energetics - Spending energy

Postby alexfong » Tue Jun 17, 2014 8:56 pm

I was in the lift with a friend who happened to bump into another friend. they were chatting. One said to the other, I have not been to the gym for 2 weeks I feel so lethargic. To gain energy, you must spend it first to gain it. the other person nodded her head in agreement. How did they arrive at this understanding? HOw do we explain conservation of energy correctly from clt perspective?

A good workout at the gym triggers production of endorphin, a neurotransmitter that gives you the "feel good factor". It does not mean that your energy level is elevated. From the CLT perspective, person should maintain an adequate energy level for body repair function. The reason for the lethargic feeling is that body has inadequate rest and energy level is low.

A CLT practitioner would harness subtle energy or light energy (depending on advancement) to maintain a steady energy spin within body and to ensure it has enough rest to rejuvenate.

Many individuals often equate the feeling of wellness that comes after exercising (due to elimination of toxins) as elevated energy. I believe it is because the concept of energy conservation has been hidden from us for a very long time or have never been taught to us. What is interesting is the principles of conservation is taught to us for money and material things, i.e. savings, but not for energy although it is our most precious asset. In my opinion, explaining conservation of energy should begin with the understanding of the role of energy in fueling our human functionality. It is only by building on this foundation can we begin to emphasise the importance of conserving energy and the method for conserving energy from the CLT perspective.
