My colleague mentioned that the reason why relationships are strained is due to clashes in aura. Is that true?

Yes, the aura is the problem but more specifically, it id caused by deficiency of relationship minerals.

2 of the main minerals are manganese and selenium. Replenishing these minerals is not the problem but protecting and conserving them is the key.

Rose quartz and selenite. But just infusing these minerals into a broken relationship does not mean the relationship will mend a broken relationship. Because the broken relationship would have damaged the sacral chakra and this chakra has to be repaired.

The relationship started off very well initiatially but over a period of time it started to strain and now they keep themselves at bay why is that so?

The parties are depleting their relationship minerals so they cannot maintain their current relationship. whatever minerals they have left, they are using the remaining minerals to maintain other important relationship.
