From the energetics perspective, the body is not losing mass because of emotional or mental baggage. It is imperative to uncover the hidden and resolve them through forgiveness and love. When one is freed of such burden, the body should release the mass accordingly.

Defintely whatever baggage that she is carrying has certainly affected her absorption of food.
Because there is no or minimal absorption, the breakdown of nutrients is not there to help her break down whatever food that is consumed, resulting in her gaining weight instead of losing weight despite having an improved diet.

Having the courage to list down his/her fears would go a long way to resolve them which would ultimately release these baggages that he/she has been carrying around and continuous wrong thinking further complicates the matter. Moreover, by constantly replaying the unhappy scenarios in the mind, may further worsen the situation perhaps causing the person to become so angry that he/she can't contain and therefore, 'explode'. This explosion punctures the person's already weakened aura, exposing the person further to contaminants, thereby weakening the aura and draining whatever energy reserves he/she has considerably, leaving very little or none for digestion of food. When there's poor digestion, absorption of nutrients is further impacted, causing undigested food to be 'stored' as excess weight in the physical body when there is insufficient energy for elimination through bowel movements. This could lead to the current situation of being unable to lose weight inspite of diet change.

This depends on what kind of improved diet this person means. Did he /she improve on hydration?
Weight problem could be due to water retention which we all know that it means 'dehydration'. Of course there are other possible factors which may stem from emotional or mental toxins which this individual has not looked at.
