With regards to love & respect, must we get to know the other person well in order for us to love & respect that person better?
If love & respect is not defined that way, how is love & respect seen from source perspective?

The general public has that thinking in mind - normally more comfortable with people that they know before they start opening their hearts, so to speak. When one feels that one needs to know the other person better, one is unknowingly putting up conditions/expectations. When we do that, we love based on our benchmark, our own set of 'rules'...

From CLT Practitioners' point of view, love ought to be unconditional.
