Clt Cultivation - Strange trend

It has been strange observing a certain trend that I am seeing from practitioners of other schools. One trend is that whenever there is a major problem that they encounter or their friends encounter, they never refer their problems back to their own cultivation school to handle. They instead refer their problems to other schools to resolve. When it is resolved, they never question how come other cultivation school could resolve the issue, whilst their school cannot do so. No one looks at this issue and question it.

Another issue, is that there are practitioners from other cultivation schools always profess their cultivation system is the best or only true cultivation system yet we can see them practising various energy system like reiki, qigong, taichi, ...etc together. Their action seem to contradict what they sincerely believe in. Any one with similar experience who want to share, or perhaps offer explanation for this trend?

I suspect that this behaviour is fueled by the need to obtain a quick fix and absence of faith and understanding of their own school's teachings.

I say this based on my previous experience when I found out that I had an elevated cancer marking. I was scared and desperate to look for a way to reverse it. Instead of seeking the answers within the teachings of the school, I sought for help elsewhere that I felt had a proven track record for reversing my condition. A few months after this event, I realised that I lacked in-depth understanding and faith on the effectiveness of the CLT system. My desperation made me lose my sense of judgement that created a need to sought alternative measures to address my conditions rather than seeking the answer from within the school. Perhaps this would be the same for others... I guess it is worth checking!!
